Our lump charcoal is 100% hardwood: a blend of oak and mesquite. Our briquettes are made from hardwood charcoal and a plant-based binder, with no chemicals, no additives, no limestone and no coal.

Oak and mesquite are high density hardwoods, so they burn hotter and longer than softwood charcoal. Our charcoal is double screened, so bags have a good mix of piece sizes and a minimum of dust, and the oak-mesquite blend gives a moderate smoke.

Yes. We supply full truckloads on a regular basis and have the capacity to handle large, recurring orders. Tell us your expected volumes and we will plan your supply with you.

We produce the charcoal and pack it in bags with your brand, so you can sell it as your own product. We help you with the bag design, the bag manufacturing, storage and every shipment.

Yes. We help you design your bag: we provide the layouts and the information every bag needs, like warnings and other regulations. Then we help you get the bags made by a bag manufacturer in Mexico and stay with you through the whole process.

The first batch of bags is usually 10,000 to 20,000 bags, depending on the bag size, and typically represents an investment of about $8,000 to $10,000 USD. After that, you can order charcoal in any amount.

Once your artwork is approved, bag manufacturing takes about 10 to 12 weeks. Once your bags are ready, a full truckload ships in about one week on average.

The bags belong to you. We store them at our packaging facility at no cost as long as you keep ordering charcoal. If you stop ordering, you can have your remaining bags picked up.

Yes. You can buy our own brand, Old West Charcoal, ready to sell, or unbranded bags for restaurants and foodservice.

Yes. We supply restaurant chains, BBQ restaurants and other foodservice businesses with oak and mesquite hardwood charcoal in unbranded bags.

Prices are quoted delivered in Laredo, Texas. You can pick up with your own carrier, or use consolidated freight when you order less than a full truckload. We ship anywhere in the United States and Canada.

A full truckload carries about 38,000 to 40,000 lbs of charcoal, usually 26 to 28 pallets.

Yes. You can mix lump charcoal, briquettes and different bag sizes in the same shipment.

Our bags carry barcodes. Pallets can be labeled with your purchase order number (PO#) or any other information you need.
